Introduction to Loudspeakers 3D Audio Effect no artificially created
The Loudspeaker, last and the most critical components of a Stereo chain, has the task of playing a musical recording in order to rebuild in the perception of the listener, an identical spatial sound image in the different 3D plans it would feel live.
The Sound, in fact, should spread in space in all imaginable Dimensions, engulfing the Loudspeakers, making them invisible to the hearing.
The desire to understand why the 3D AUDIO EFFECT expressed above, are not always present in listening through the HI-FI Systems Speakers, prompted me to do some research. Finally some auditory perceptions, led me to learn more about Timbre, Harmonics, Dispersion, Directivity, and Perspective of Sound.
What you read and see in these pages is the result of my research.
The Speakers System SLATE, that I made in year 1988, is the first prototype related to the issues mentioned above. If you look closely at this System on the right, you will notice a rare geometric arrangement of Tweeters on the front panel.
On the page that follows, is described the Speaker System AURA 3D Audio Effect. I'm sure that this page will stimulate your curiosity.
